The rapid growth of population in
the third world without corresponding growth of resources and wealth has distorted the population- resource balance resulting
in poverty, hunger, malnutrition and many other forms of socio- economic evils. More than 3/4th of world population, live
below poverty line and face endless sufferings. Though government is putting enormous effort for poverty alleviation, there
has been little or no impact so far, on the lives of these peoples. Thus in current scenario, Non Governmental Organisations
and Voluntary Organisations are emerging as alternative strategy of development. But it is very shocking that awareness about
Non Governmental Organisations and Voluntary Organisations is lacking among people. Even many existing NGOs are facing difficulties
due to lack of information in many aspects like formulation of projects, guidelines, documentation, funding agencies, etc.
Indianngo bridges gap between Non Governmental Organisations and Funding Agencies through Online Voluntering by NGOParivar.
Our objective is to contribute to social and economic upliftment of the deprived and under- privileged through eradication
of poverty, spreading education as well as awareness through various programmes. It provides a platform for individuals and
organizations to exchange their views and interact with each other in issues relating to human development. Communicating
and co-ordinating their efforts focused to the cause of poor, under- privileged and weaker sections of the society, thus building
a global development network. Our activities will include: Promoting all Non Governmental Organisations, Voluntary Organisations
and funding agencies of India and abroad to ensure that people get to know the works being carried out by them. Networking
of NGOs and other like minded people. To provide an opportunity to individuals who wish to contribute in cash or kind to link
up with the NGO of interest resulting in a fruitful association. To enable NGOs in formulating their communications strategy
by use of electronic media.
